Their melodies have the hallmarks of classic 60s pop and their grooves are impossible-to-pigeon-hole.
Formed in 2004, their debut EP, “Ain’t For Sale” stormed onto the Airwaves in 2006 and was quickly followed with their first full length effort, Low-Fi Records, Hi-Fi Radio in the summer of 2007-08. The latter received praise from critics and punters alike and was voted in the top five blues/roots albums of the year by Triple J’s listeners.
2high Festival will be the first time Black Market Rhythm Co. have played in Brisbane in 6 months. They have been taking a break to record a new album.
