Fiona Privitera collects pop-up books and would one day like to produce her own. Her poetry has been published in numerous anthologies and journals worldwide. She has performed at the Queensland Poetry Festival in 2003, 2006 and 2009. Her poems are about desire, underwater cities, naked woman on sushi trains and eating pistachios. She recently made a short film of her mouth as she recites a love poem and has been attending trapeze classes even though she is afraid of heights.
Moretta is a mask worn by women and held in place by a bit in the mouth. This solo performance incorporates poetry on the themes of desire, of revelation and concealment with white body clay and a Venetian mask.
