Myspace is Your Space

Myspace is Your Space is an issue-based collage piece, devised by the cast and directors and was originally developed for a unit on Epic Theatre. As a result, this script became the foundation idea for this year’s entry in the Gold Coast Secondary School’s Drama Festival, held at Somerset College in August. MYSPACE IS YOUR SPACE takes a satirical look at the obsessions of social networking and how we may have, as a society, lost our ability to communicate effectively. This play is an ensemble piece and in the true essence of Brecht’s epic theatre, Myspace is Your Space will certainly take the audience on an entertaining theatrical ride. This play was named Best Devised Play of the festival and was also named Runner Up for Best Overall Play.
