Nicola Parsons

Nicola Parsons is a young, emerging artist based in south-east Queensland. She is interested in a variety of art mediums including mixed media graphic art, photography, video art, installation, and interactive art. For the past few years she has been involved in a range of exhibitions and events, and has also been working in the local music scene. Her work explores hidden symbols and stories of the unconscious. She is influenced by the images in her dreams.

Her latest artwork, Strip, is a deconstruction of the feminine ritual of beautification.
